TOTAL CONTROL OF MODULATION

In FM transmission, the signal sent to the transmitter must under no circumstances exceed a deviation of 75 KHz. High level peaks, normally of short duration, do not carry sound energy and produce overmodulation. To limit these peaks, single-band limiters act over the entire audio spectrum and generally attenuate the sound. Mirage FM divides the signal into 3 frequency bands and controls them separately, acting only on the band where the peaks are present. This is done without compromising sound density and maintaining full and consistent modulation.

 

EXCITING SOUND

Mirage FM's adjustable functions allow you to process the audio signal and adapt it immediately to the needs of the broadcaster. This allows Mirage FM to produce deep, powerful bass, bright midrange and clean, crisp highs. The speaker's voice will be enhanced and the intelligibility of incoming calls will be greatly improved.

DIGITAL STEREO ENCODER

The standard digital stereo encoder mounted on the Mirage FM MPX demonstrates how advanced an audio processing system can be. In addition to providing superb stereo separation between channels, it provides maximum levels of modulation and total control of spurious peaks generated by the low pass filter and preamp networks in external encoders.
