Audio processor

This is a digital multiband audio processor suited for loudness controlling and peak limiting in FM broadcasting, DAB / HD-Radio, DTV, webcasting and post production applications. The processing audio chain is composed by a dual band AGC, followed by a six bands limiter. The final clipper is oversampled and is optimized for digital clipping artifacts reduction, allowing for a clear and natural sound. All audio processing is realized through DSPs, allowing a stable operation over time and the possibility to implement new functions through software updates.

The D-TV version is equipped with SDI audio embedder- deembedder with automatic bypass in case of failure. This version can process the audio stream already embedded into the SDI signal, or can be used as an audio embedder to superimpose the audio coming from a mixing console into the SDI signal. An adjustable delay line will help in lip- syncing the embedded audio to the incoming video.
